Thirtysomething identical twins, Éva and Adél lead very different lifestyles, but, other than their looks, they have one main thing in common. Both are deeply unhappy but pretend not to be. Adél leads a reserved, antisocial lifestyle, and plans to leave for a radiologist job in Sweden, while her sister, Éva is a housewife with a newborn and a successful, appeal-ing husband. Éva can’t face her failing marriage, she is depending on her husband, who is abusive and controlling, while Adél is so lonely and withdrawn, it’s impossible to get close to her. They both need each other but are incapable to connect to. When they meet Ákos, a construction worker, who is perfect to idealize and have a platonic love affair with, their hypocritical lifestyle needs to change. They realise each other’s misery by a bizarre, unfulfilled love triangle, that gradually draws them closer than they have ever been before.
